We had a FM meeting this week, plus Zone Conference. So there was 2 days we did not work. At Zone Conference, we had a senior missionary that thought we ought to go to the cemetary and clean up. Bruce and I had spent the morning on Monday there fixing the eagle project from Saturday. It was so cold. T
he snow has just melted enough to even see lawn
in a few places. But on Friday we went up and hauled off 2 dumpster loads of limbs. It is only a start. But maybe it will pacify him till we get back.We went to the QWest center for a car show on Saturday afternoon. It had some old cars all fixed up. Unfortunately, there was not a old TBird. Lots of corvettes. The picture of the Fairlane is as close as we f
ound to a TBird. Bruce was sad.The geese are here so it must be close to spring. I took a picture of a flock. They make a lot of noise. It is quite cool.
By the way, our roads here are terrible. They patch them. and a few days later, they are holes again. (See Picture)
Have a great week. Be glad you are not driving on these roads. We hope our car doesn't fall apart in the next few months.

The geese are probably only cool if they just pass through and don't make that noise all summer. Just watch your heads while they're flying over. :)
Glad our roads are better than that. SF actually does a pretty good job on keeping them nice ...
Have a great week!
I heard that in Germany they've started a program where citizens can sponsor a pothole--you pay the money and the city keeps it fixed up. I guess this helps fund the project, it helps people feel more invested in the community, and it's also kind of funny. I think they'll even put up a plaque, which seems to me like a waste of the money they've just earned from their sponsor!
Hello you two!
Thank you so much for your comment on my blog, and the wonderful package!!! I was planning to send you out a thank you note, and still do, but I thought this would be quicker and more sufficient for now.
You have such a kind heart. Your note, the Book and Mormon, and hilarious DVD were such a gift. I appreciate you taking the time to think of me during a time I know you are extremely busy. They could not have arrived at a better time for me.
I am doing well. I have learned to take each day as it comes, with its blessings and trials. I pray for pain relief and eagerly anticipate the surgery. I never thought I would say that, but I know God is using this surgeon to bring my body healing. It is a comfort to know that even though it won't be a pleasant experience, like all trials, blessings usually follow.
I am praying for you both as you continue your missionary work. Thank you for keeping us all posted on how you are doing. I really enjoy reading your blog!
Love you both,
Laura
