Back to Work

It has been much warmer this week. It got up to 83 this week. From freezing to melting. But we are working outside and we enjoy that much more. We have been cleaning up the chapels and historic sites, and getting ready to plant more flowers. The daffodils have bloomed, and the tulips are budded. I hope they hurry, because in 4 weeks we pull them whether they are done or not.

Rachel went home Tuesday morning. It was so good to see them. We went to the church historic sites after church on Sunday, and the zoo on Monday. The zoo is a very good zoo. They have a aquarium that has a tube.

My favorite is the sun bear. He has wrinkly skin. He is really cute. Then after we went across the street to King Kong. Not the best food, but the kids meals are 1/2 lb of meat. If you come you have to go there once just to say you've been. Come out and we will take you.

Tuesday we met McLanes replacement. They are the Averetts from SLC. Very nice people. We will miss the McLanes a lot. It has been so fun to work with them. We get along really well. But we only have 3 months left. Hard to believe.

Conference has been really enjoyable so far. I love being able to watch on Saturday instead of working. But I do like watching it on TV rather than a laptop. But a laptop is better than getting dressed up and going to a church (or across the parking lot to the institute).

I hope everyone has a great Easter.
