This has been a great week for weather. It rained some on Wednesday, but other than that it has been beautiful.
Wednesday, it was raining quite hard and we didn't have anything to do in the buildings, so we couldn't work. So, the girls went shopping. We have threatened to do this for almost a year now. We had a great time, and even went to lunch. Once in a year isn't bad to do this.
Monday was our senior dinner. They ha
d a patriarch come talk to us. I had no idea you could call church headquarters and get copies of your parents blessings and also your childrens. They will send them out to you. It was real interesting to have him talk. He is a convert, and has been a patriarch for about 30 years.Saturday we went to a baptism for a 8 year old girl. This fell through a month ago, and we were quite nervous. She was late, but came. She is the great-niece of C.J., that we home-visit teach. She is single and helps her extended family out a lot. Bruce confirmed her. Her niece is a member (Angels mom) but not too active. She is expecting and having a hard time with her pregnancy. Her boyfriend is letting us come teach him. I hope he shows up.
Serena took the week off. Her husband had bypass surgery. They didn't put him out, but gave him an epidural. That is just weird. Things went well, and she should be back on Monday.
We went to the Joclyn Art Museum on Saturday afternoon. It is a beautiful building.
built in the 1930's. They have painting and artifacts as far back as B.C. That is just hard to believe. They were in great shape. They had some really neat things. They had a sculpture garden with some interesting things also.We are happy to say that as usual, we will be helping the government loan money to failing companies. Every year we are happy to do this. They need our money more than we do. I really don't mind paying my part, I just hate to pay for more than my fair share. Oh well, it happens every year. That is why we don't file till the very end.
I hope everyone is well, and that Utah gets some good weather now that spring break is over.

Hooray for another baptism finally happening. :) Glad the weather is warmer. You can work out your tax frustrations on some dirt. ;)
Sounds like a great week! It just makes you feel good to have nice weather and be able to move around outside. You guys will be sweatin' it up in no time!
That's great that the baptism went through. Maybe Kimberlin is the good luck charm you needed to get things rolling.
