Love the Humidity

It has been a rainy week. The humidity has been as high as the temperature. There has been some flooding in areas around.

We picked up limbs all over last Monday that came down in a wind storm. No tornados yet though.
Bruce is so disappointed. I'm fine with it myself.

We gave our farewell talks today in church. I had the primary sing and Bruce had me play a piano solo. I haven't done that in years. Fortunately, I fasted and received help playing. The Bishop asked me last week if I wanted to talk, and I was honest and told him no. Then he asked me if I would talk, and I had to say yes.

We went to Atlantic Iowa this week, and on the way home we went by a place that has original wagon ruts. Unfortunately, the grass was to tall to see them. The grass was different where the ruts were. You could tell they were there, but couldn't see them. It was neat to be where you knew the wagons had been.

Next Sunday is our last week in our ward. The next Sunday I am playing the Battle Hymn with Sister Baker in Council Bluffs. Then we are done. We will be on our way to South Carolina.

Be careful of email requests. My friend Shirley who is on a mission in England, or could be on her way home sent me a request for money for a cousin in the hospital. I thought it was weird, especially because the grammer was awful. There was a not from her a little while later that it was a scam. Scary.
