Hello Everyone
Another exciting week. We just got home from the Offutt Air Force base. They had a spectacular air show. They had the Blue Angels perform. They were expecting 150 thousand over Saturday and Sunday. I think they were all there today. They bus ed us in from 5 different locations.
We went to Bellevue West high school. We stood in line a hour to get there.
When it was over, we went to the parking lot where the buses were picking people up, and it was a mad house. It was a solid mass of people. No one knew where the end of the line was. So we just stood in what looked like the end of the line. We stood for a half hour and did'nt move. First thing I know, Bruce is telling me to hurry and get on the bus. Everyone where we were standing was getting on, so we followed. I was relieved not to have to stand all day, but I don't think we were at the end of the line. Oh well.
This week we got rained out again on Wednesday. This could get to be a habit. I get our house work done, and our grocery shopping. We did get a lot done this week. The beautiful flowers are really looking beat up though. They aren't as bright as they were. In a month we will probably pull them all out. Sad thought.
Bruce got put in Cub Scouts. He is so excited. He has the Bears. They meet on Wednesday. They have a Saturday hike. One problem is that we work in the temple. He can get a sub, but we only have one car here. We live about 12 miles from the temple. He can probably take me there, but I'm not sure I want to walk that far home. I guess I could con some one into taking me home.
I guess I better go do some missionary work or something. Love you all
