A Good Service Project

Yesterday we had a service project in the afternoon. The Council Bluffs Stake came and helped with getting things winterized. It was great. We didn't have all the wards come, but it was great. Jerry and Gail did the Temple and Trail Center, Bruce and I did the Cemetary, and Serena did the Tabernacle.
Bruce did some more of the walks, and I had the rest take out plants. We had about 6 or 7 that worked from 2:00 to 4:30.
We still have a lot of tulips to plant.
We went Thursday to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. It was at the Community Playhouse. It is just around the corner from us. It was really good. I had seen it one other time with Denise in Provo. If you go the same day as the production and it isn't sold out, you can get tickets half price.
It was good to do something fun. We have worked so hard the last 2 weeks, and still have a few more hard ones to go. I will be glad when its November.
We still haven't heard about coming home in December. I hope we can come. I just hope no news is good news.
It would be so weird to go home then have to leave in a few days. We have thought of a few things we would take back with us.
Bruce seems to be feeling better this week. He hurts, but not quite as bad as last week. So hopefully he is on the mend.
That is about all for this week. Kind of boring stuff.

Yeah, I was thinking how it could be kind of funny having you guys as guests in your own house; kind of surreal. It would be especially strange since you'd only be here a couple of days, then you'd be gone again. But that doesn't mean we aren't dying to have you come!

I can't believe how crazy busy you guys are preparing for winter! You'll be landscaping pros and come home and see my yard and start itching ... ;)

Can't wait to hear the news about December. Even a short visit would be awesome.

So glad Dad's feeling better. I hope that continues this week.
