Halloween

It is now November, and I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. I will be very upset if it is not good weather.
We went to our combined Trunk or Treat,Chili cookoff. There were some cute costumes. Brother Gentry was a medivial "Wheres Waldo", we had rockstars, tinerbells, and rednecks. They had a contest between our bishop and the branch president, to see which ones wife could wrap him in toilet paper as a mummy the fastest. That was fun to watch.
We started cleaning inside Papillion Stake Center because Elder Oaks is coming for conference.
His brother is Temple President, and Sister Oaks asked me to play the organ at a fireside for temple workers. I think Sister Fankhauser told her I played. I made her very nervous because I told her I had never had professional training, and I did'nt have organ shoes. I tolded her she is welcome to come with me to practice. She is a funny lady and gets nervous when things are not perfect. She is very nice though.
We got all but a few tulips planted. That is a good feeling. It rained 2 straight days here. At least it did'nt snow like in Utah. It is quite nice now for a few days. I hope we have a while of nice fall weather.
Bruce is taking his primary class to the cemetary today. His lesson is on Winter Quarters, and the bishop said it was ok to do. The primary president is helping him. They are quite lax back here. It should be easy to get his point across at a actual winter quarters spot. The bishop told him it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
Rebecca, I took the hair picture for you.

Had I known you didn't have professional training, I wouldn't have sung all those years you played organ during Sacrament meeting ...

Glad Dad is feeling better. Hope you don't freeze your tootsies off this month! At least you'll have fun visitors in a few weeks!
