It is finally warming up. It is now in the upper teens today.
We had more snow this week. It also was suppose to hit record lows, but it didn't quite make it. We had a very uneventful week. We did inventory at one more building. We had 2 couples over last night to play games. We played a new card game where you have 2 more decks of cards than players. We had nine decks of cards. It was pretty fun.
We are having L. Tom Perry to our mission next month. Donald Hallstrom is coming with him. They will meet Sunday night with the stake and ward leaders who are responsible for missionary work, Then on Monday, February 22nd, they will meet with all the missionaries at the Omaha Stake Center. How luck are we to have 3 apostles visit while we are here? Unbelievable.
Our primary is learning a new song that goes along with the sharing time this year. It is titled
I Know That My Savior Loves Me. It is so pretty. Here are the words.
Along time ago in a beautiful place, Children were gathered round Jesus. He blessed and taught as they felt of His love. Each saw the tears on His face. The love that He felt for His little ones I know He feels for me. I did not touch Him or sit on His knee, Yet, Jesus is real to me.
Verse 2 Now I am here in a beautiful place, Learning the teachings of Jesus. parents and teachers will help guide the way, Lighting my path every day. Wrapped in the arms of my Savior's love, I feel His gentle touch. Living each day, I will follow His way, Home to my Father above.
Chorus: I know He lives! I will follow faithfully. My heart I give to Him. I know that my Savior loves me.
The tune is beautiful. It is fun to be in primary and hear these songs they have. I love them.
Have a great week. Remember who you are and what you stand for. Love Sister Sylvia

Three members of the 12, and my mission never had a Seventy visit. Crazy!
I substituted in primary last week and got to hear that song, too. It is pretty. It's fun that they're doing some that aren't in the primary song book.
Hope you have a wonderful week and that it continues to get warmer!
We haven't sung that song in our primary yet, but it sounds great. I'm sure I'll hear it soon. I love being in the primary and hearing the songs they sing.
How great to have L. Tom Perry visit! When I was at BYU he came to the library once while I was studying for a final. I heard someone being kind of loud and looked up to see who it was because I was irritated. I realized it was an apostle nudging a guy who had fallen asleep on his book and giving him a hard time. It was pretty funny and helped me lighten up a whole bunch!
