This winter is colder and has more snow than for 75 years. Yeah. I am writing tonight because we have to leave for church early to make sure our chapel gets the handicap entrance and other doors cleaned for church.
This week we finished inside inventories. That was a happy day. Now we wait for the snow to melt to melt to do flower bed inventory and walks and parking lots. That will be August and we will be home so I'm not too worried about that.
Monday is our missionary conference with Elder Perry. I got my picture of him that Brett drew in the mail to give to him. Also a card he can sign for him. I think Brett will make his day. I will follow up on this next week.
I forgot to mention last week the bride we had at the Temple on Saturday. She was so excited to be getting married. She was living a fairy tale. She had a tiara, and we just beaming. She had on what looked like glass slippers. I thought they were so cute I asked her to raise her dress a bit so Bruce (who was at the recommend desk) and the other sister who was greeting could see them. She raised her dress and stomped her foot and lights came on in the heel and were going off and on. It was the coolest thing. Then when they were done with pictures and she was leaving, she put on her purple velvet robe and left. Then we had a bride today who was complaining about the cold and just didn't look happy at all. Big difference.
Our missionaries from our ward are both leaving. They closed down our area. Sad that they couldn't get anyone to listen to their message. They worked so hard. I hope they have success in their new areas, but we will miss them. Elder Ozman has been here just about the whole time we have.
Well, I hope you all have a nice warm week. Love to everyone. Sister Sylvia

That's sad about the Elders leaving your area. It's always fun to see other missionaries when you're a missionary.
That will be so great to see Elder Perry--you guys have been looking forward to that for a while. Can't wait to hear how it goes!
