Another Eagle Project

Bruce is keeping busy with eagle projects. Saturday President Kunz' son did his project in the cemetary. They got a lot done. He had a ready source of help with the missionaries. He also had all of his scout leaders, and a few boys in his ward.
It actually went better than the last one, because it didn't rain. If a couple more boys do this, the work will get done real fast.
This week we had Zone Conference. Brother Zabrowski, of the seventy came. It was very good. They talked about using the resources available with every one to help fellowship propective member. This could be used with everything we do.
We had to leave after lunch. Bruce somehow picked up shingles, and couldn't sit any longer. So we left. After lunch is mostly for proselyting missionaries anyway.
I do need to tell you a cute thing Bruce read in Readers Digest.
An elderly lady passed away and they were having her funeral in the cemetary. The minister asked her husband if he had anything to say. He thought a minute, and there was a hugh clap of thunder followed by a bolt of lightning, and another bolt of thunder. He looked at the minister and said "Well, she's there."
I loved that.
One other funny thing was a skit on Saturday Night Live. I was going thru the channels and they were doing this so I watched.
A group of congressmen were talking (all Republicans) and Obama was getting ready to pitch health care.
They decided to all stand up as a group and say Liar. They headed in, and one guy said he needed to go to the bathroom and would meet them in there.
While they were in there, one of them said they were unsure about doing this. Soon they decided to not do it. It came to the appointed time, and the bathroom guy stood up and yelled "Liar".
For some reason I loved this. Made me wonder if that is what really happened to the poor guy from South Carolina.
The temple opened again. We went Tuesday, and I worked Saturday. It was a great experience. It is so peaceful there. They told us the guys that polished and buffed the gold railing on the doors want missionaries to come by. I was excited. They were really nice. They kept complimenting us on the flowers.
I hope everyone is doing well. Just want you to see a beautiful Nebraska sunrise.

Hope dad takes it a little easy with his shingles! Yuck!!!

I never had a Seventy visit my mission the entire time I was out. I kept hoping we'd have one visit, and he never did. I guess Southern Georgia is too far away.

Have a great week!
